M v F: Representing a vulnerable transgender client. Matter was listed for a complex finding of fact hearing but after lengthy pre-hearing negotiations this was avoided and an agreed final order was reached on day one of the finding of fact for a staged shared care arrangement.
F v M: Representing a father with complex cognitive issues including significant memory loss, requiring an intermediary for all hearings. Mother was vehemently opposed to any forms of contact, which required lengthy party discussions and negotiation.
F v M: Representing mother at decision hearing stage. Parties were significantly far apart and there was initially resistance to any direct contact. Father was unrepresented and unwilling to discuss matters. However, over the course of two decision hearings, direct contact was reintroduced on an agreed basis and an agreed final order reached.
