Conor joined Broadway House Chambers in July 2016 as the Civil and Family Fees Clerk after previously working at Leeds County Court.
During Conor’s time at Broadway House Chambers, he has been responsible for the billing of Counsel Fees in all Civil, Family, Immigration and Employment cases. Over this time, Conor has amassed a high level of knowledge of the different billing schemes, such as the Family Advocacy Scheme, Controlled Legal Representation (Immigration), Very High Cost Cases and Privately Funded cases just to name a few.
Working closely with Senior Civil and Family Clerk, Robin Slade, Conor has been able to tap into Robin’s 30+ years of experience to build strong working relationships with instructing solicitors and other clerks across the north east region. This has helped ensure that billing is done in a timely manner and the fee chasing process is completed professionally, open and honestly.
