Jayne Pye

Jayne was admitted as a solicitor and practiced family law for 10 years in a well-established firm where she became a Partner and Head of the Family Team.

She was subsequently called to the Bar where she has continued to practice family law for over 30 years.  Jayne was Chair of the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside Family Law Bar Association for 10 years.

Jayne began working in court as a part–time judge in 2000. As a Deputy District Judge and as a Recorder she has decided all types of family cases including the best arrangements for children in complex private law court proceedings.

She has undertaken mediation training.

Jayne accepts bookings to act as an independent professional, with extensive knowledge of the law, practice, and procedure, to assist parents, relatives, and carers to reach agreements about the right arrangements in the best interests of children.

She has had considerable expertise assisting parties to manage arrangements for children in the court arena, and she transfers those skills to the private DRAs.
