Gerald has over 30 years of experience and has done nothing but children and financial remedy work since 1999. Gerald’s medical background is also helpful where health issues feature. Gerald values the opportunities that NCDR brings to reach fair and custom-made solutions for his clients. No case is straightforward! Every case brings its own complexities and Gerald always explores every avenue to achieve the right outcome for his client.
-
Gerald believes that private DRA’s offer a great way to resolve disagreements about children. Whether it’s an issue about schooling or living arrangements, Gerald’s experience means that he can provide sound advice and representation in any situation.
-
Because every case is different, Gerald will help with advice and/or representation as much or as little is required. Sometimes he is involved from the very start, before proceedings even start. On other cases he meets the client for the first time for the pFDR. This is because Gerald recognises that everyone’s circumstances are different and that his client knows best what is needed.

W v H (2026). Matrimonial finance case in which one party lacked capacity. Significant non-matrimonial assets; pension contributions completely pre-dated the marriage and there was a post-separation inheritance.
H v W (2026). Matrimonial finance case in which one party had significant pre-marital business interests which continued throughout a lengthy marriage. The other party also suffered ill-health, which complicated an assessment of their future needs.
M v F (2026). Children case in which both parents sought a ‘lives with’ order. Case resolved with shared living arrangements. Extensive provisions for school holidays, birthdays and Christmas.
H v W (2025). Matrimonial finance case featuring inherited farm interests with complex ‘tied’ residential property and complex business valuations.
F v M (2023). Children case in which the sole dispute was the child’s schooling. Gerald represented the Father. The mother was a teacher. The outcome was that the children attended at the father’s choice of school.
