Anna is a specialist family law barrister who has maintained a deliberately mixed practice encompassing matrimonial finance and children law work. This enables her to advise on all aspects of family law, particularly where different areas overlap.
In addition to her court-based practice, Anna has experience in a number of NCDR options. She regularly conducts private FDR hearings (as both counsel and “judge”) and is similarly available to conduct private DRAs in children matters. Anna is also a qualified mediator for both children and finance matters.
-
Anna has significant experience in all aspects of family finance proceedings, including financial remedies and Schedule 1 of the Children Act. She deals with cases involving high net worth individuals, third party interventions, pre/post nuptial agreements, and jurisdictional disputes. Anna regularly conducts private FDR hearings (as both counsel and “judge”), using her experience in these cases to provide clients with an informed indication as to the likely outcome, with a view to assisting in reaching a settlement.
-
Anna has significant experience in proceedings under the Children Act, including applications for Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Order and Specific Issue Orders with a particular interest in domestic and international relocation proceedings. Anna is able to conduct private DRAs (as either “judge” or counsel), using her experience in these cases to provide clients with an informed indication as to the likely approach of the court, with a view to assisting in reaching a settlement.
-
Anna has experience acting as counsel in arbitrations for both children and finance matters (including, where appropriate, a combined arbitration of linked matters).
-
Anna is a qualified mediator for both finance and children matters. Please note Anna is not able to conduct MIAMs.
